Location: It is located on the broad Beach Road of Pattaya, so you could enjoy getting your tan on or hitting the waves. At nighttime, you could hop to several bars in the area and have a first-hand experience of the wild nightlife of Pattaya.

The staff can also provide you with anything you might need, and they can even recommend tours or spots to visit throughout the entire city.

Backpacking Tips For Pattaya

In addition to the vibrant nightlife, Pattaya has to offer unique cultural experiences and activities for every individual!

We want to provide you with a list of tips to make your trip a little bit easier.

  • As we’ve previously mentioned, you should definitely experience the nightlife in Pattaya! From bars to nightclubs and karaoke bars – there’s something for everyone to enjoy! Take a walk down the Pattaya Walking Street and head into some of the wildest discos in the world.
  • The Pattaya Floating Market is one of the best reasons to visit the city. The market is divided into four portions, each representing a different part of Thailand. You can get excellent prices on handicrafts and taste some delicious Thai food!
  • Visit the Sanctuary Of Truth, an ancient wooden temple in the northern part of Pattaya. While you’re there you can even get to see some Thai boxing and cultural shows or you could have a trek on an elephant’s back!
  • For lovers of the outdoors, we recommend seeing the golden, 18-meter-tall Big Buddha. You can climb up the steep stairs and see the statue in full glory where you can also wish for luck, health and happiness.

What about the cheapest hostels in Pattaya?

Of course, there are always cheap hostels. But how do you actually find them? When you are traveling on a shoe-string budget and you want to save every dollar, there are ways to find the cheapest places in Pattaya.

  1. Open Hostelz.com with a full list of all hostels in Pattaya
  2. add your dates
  3. Order the listings by price

Simple as that.

Hostelz.com is a price comparison site for hostels. They list every single one in the world and tells you exactly which website is cheaper to use.

Another smart Tip: Check what is actually included, and what is excluded. Take a closer look at the location, too. A further location might mean more costs in transport.

Best hostels in Pattaya by Hostelgeeks

CLOSED – Yes! Vegan Bed And Vegan Foods Pattaya

Update: This hostel has closed permanently.

The last entry of our list of best hostels in Pattaya is the Yes! Vegan Bed and Foods Hostel. It is situated just 500m away from the beach, and the city area is very easily accessible – making it a great choice if you’re backpacking in Pattaya! You can also find many restaurants, shops and bars in the area, so you can experience the best of what the city offers!

This quaint and cosy accommodation has only four bedrooms available with 20 beds in total. There are only five bathrooms available, so there isn’t an option for rooms with private ones. The rooms and the hostel’s interior are decorated in a contemporary and modern style. Each room is equipped with power outlets and a nightlight, and there’s even a blue-light option available that doesn’t strain your eyes so much! On the top floor are cubbies locked with keys where you can place all of your personal belongings.

The hostel’s common areas are spacious and inviting, so you can spend time meeting new people. We would say that the main highlight of this accommodation is that it carefully caters to vegan travellers! There’s a restaurant inside the hostel that offers a wide array of vegan dishes, meaning that all of your dietary needs can be satisfied. The atmosphere is quite relaxing, so if you need a place to wind down, our new kid on the block is the ideal choice for you!
